Why switch to heat pumps? We asked
Robert Wycoff who has been designing
heating and cooling plans for buildings in
Victoria for over 24 years.
Robert says, “As an engineer 1 like heat
pumps from an economical and safety
standpoint. Unlike a gas system, you can
place a heat pump anywhere it’s needed.
And I personally do not like a gas flame in
the attic of a home. As for efficiency, a
heat pump has a real advantage in the
heating cycle. But any air system has to
be installed right to work right. Me, I
recommend electric heat pumps and I
have them in my own home. Wouldn’t
have anything else.”
